PROJECT COORDINATOR

This is a team-based position that works closely with Sales, Design, Installation and support teams, and is key to managing a successful client experience. Responsibilities include project initiation, budgeting, scheduling, and managing on-site installations. This position also reports project activity, provides status updates, manages risk and escalates to internal and external teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of project management. Commercial office furniture dealership experience is preferred.

  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, furniture specification plans and other architectural plans.

  • Technical knowledge, including applicable building codes, furniture product application, custom applications, estimating and understanding electrical/low voltage requirements.

  • Knowledge of the contract furniture industry, including account management, project management, order management, installation, relocation and contract furniture administration.

  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with MS Project or other project software.
