PROJECT MANAGER

We’re looking for an experienced, client-focused Project Manager to lead commercial furniture projects from order entry through installation and final closeout. In this highly collaborative role, you will work with the sales and project management teams to manage timelines to ensure that Dupler Office completes all aspects of its fulfillment responsibilities. You will also report project status updates to the project team, identify project risks, and escalate risks to the client or internal Dupler team. This position is also responsible for consistently demonstrating the Dupler Office Core Values and delivering the Dupler Office Client Experience with every client.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the client’s primary point of contact for project communications after order entry.

  • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, work plans, installation logistics, and closeout requirements

  • Coordinate clients, architects and designers, contractors, trades, building management, movers, manufacturers, and internal teams

  • Review project sites, construction drawings, furniture specifications, product applications, and technical plans for accuracy and completeness

  • Provide technical consultation and help prepare project quotes, proposals, and client presentations

  • Maintain complete project documentation, including approvals, key decisions, revisions, receiving records, timesheets, and contract requirements

  • Provide timely written updates and report project status, risks, and next steps during weekly project meetings

  • Coordinate order-entry information, manufacturing and shipping instructions, product delivery schedules, and on-site installation activities

  • Monitor installation progress and work closely with installation supervisors, contractors, and other trades to resolve issues

  • Conduct pre-installation and punch-list walkthroughs, drive punch-list resolution, secure final sign-offs, and complete project closeout

experience

  • Three (3) or more years of project management, furniture installation, design, or related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered

Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, furniture specification plans, and architectural documents

  • Knowledge of contract furniture, installation, order management, interior construction, building systems, moves and relocations, manufacturing, and shipping

  • Strong planning, scheduling, problem-solving, organization, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, anticipate project risks, and communicate solutions clearly

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
